I could never thank all of the people enough that have helped me arrive where I am today. My interactions with family and friends, co-workers, patients, clients and people I've met during my years as a nurse, EMT, firefighter, photographer and fly-fishing guide have given me great experiences and insight into who I am and why and just a little about life.
I first have to thank my wife and business partner Theresa Marie Archer, The Holistic Helper, for all the love, hard work and support.
Thanks to all of the nurses who I have ever worked with and continue to do the heavy lifting each day with caring and compassion, particularly those in psych, and specifically to those whom I worked with in the child and adolescent inpatient crisis center (CCIS) at Monmouth Medical Center. It was Val Magrino and Moyo Otepola who inspired me to follow their steps to Monmouth University and become a PMHNP.
To the therapists and social workers who put in the long hours with our patients and continue to explore and develop evidenced-based practices to assist our patients on their own course to wellness.
To my collaborator psychiatrist Dr. David Wolff at Shore TMS.
To my preceptors who guided me through 600 plus hours of clinical during my studies at Monmouth University. First and foremost Christine Possemato, PMHNP, of CRP Behavioral Health in Long Branch and Toms River, Dr. Jessica Pogran, and Dr. Amini Chowdury.
And lastly, Dr. Leah Kelly, EDD, ANPC, who came in to our cohort at Monmouth and gave my classmates and I the knowledge and skills to perform to the highest levels as psychiatric nurse practitioners.
